  2. Vere Hunt was the landlord over Hollyford, and he lived in Cappawhite. He was a very cruel landlord, and he evicted Top Tuohy's father. He died about the age of 75.

    Long ago there was a man named Kirby. He was on the top of Ring Hill one time, when the Black and Tans saw him, and they thought he was a spy. It is said that before they shot him they dug his grave
