In summer making firkins and in winter making coolers for milk. There is no cooper in the district now. All our industry at the present time helping the foreigner.

   William Slattery Shevre Thurles
   John Ryan Knockmaroe Milestone Thurles.
   They are dead and any thatching to be done, the thatcher has to be imported.
