    Martin Sweeney was one day working in the bog when the horse belonging to another man "bogged" in the soft mould. Martin was asked to help to pull the horse and creel up. He sometimes would not pretend he was so strong at all, but on that particular day he pulled as hard as he could. The boys all pulled against him but he moved horse, creel, and men for some yards even though they did their best to pull against him.
