    To cure lung trouble boil dandelion in a new milk and then strain the milk give the drink to the sick person.
    Get a roasted potato and put it into a stocking. Then tie the stocking around the neck. This is a good cure for a sore throat.
    If a child were dying, put one leg outside the door and the inside the door. Then pour water on the child's head the child will be cured of its sickness.
    A cure for a pain in the head is to lie on your back without any pillow under your head.
    Another cure for warts is to rub the skin of a bean on the warts.
    A cure for corns is to wrap the skin of a freshly killed sow around the feet. This would soften the foot and rid people of corns.
    To cure fever boil young spiders in water and then strain the water and drink it.
    Washing soda, heated until it melts, will cure wring[?] worms, if it is rubbed on the affected part, when melted.
    Goose grease will cure rheumatism, if rubbed into the joints.
    Nettles, boiled and eaten, are supposed to be good blood purifiers.
