- Lea.
This is a short yellow oily weed which grows on moors, and kills sheep. Sheep like it because its oily. They thrive on it at first, and then die, as it poisons the liver.
Silver-wire. This plant grows over a foot in height, and branches and is something similar to Pruiseach. It has a yellow flower in it in the month of June.
It is a cure for kidney-complaints. Boil it and drink the juice.
Hoar-hound. This is a greenish weed with small green leaves about the size of a sixpence. It grows a foot in height.
Boil the plants for a whole day. Drink a half glass of the juice once a day for to cure coughs.
