   Adieu, adieu lov'd St. Johnstown,
   Your shady bowers, and your groves adieu
   And comrades fond who oft strolled down
   A song, a dance or a hunt in view
   Thos edays are gone - those good old days -
   I close my eyes and a tear will fall,
   And memory peeps with hter Tontgen rays
   Good times and joy be with them all,
   Be with them all, be with them all,
   Old Cashel's Rocks, ANd Clonmel quays
   Good times and joy be with them all.

   Adieu, adieu you hoary ruins
   Where rest my forbears bones adieu;
   No more amongst your moss clad tombs
   I'll kneel and pray, dear shades for you
   But whilst hot life blood thrills my being
