    patriots die?
    A prayer for the men who've gone
    Their fame shall urge us on:
    And for our leaders give three times three cheers:
    Here to defend the right
    For Faith + Home we fight-
    'Our Land' is the cry of the Irish Volunteers.
    Here, 'neath the shade of yon mount fam'd in story
    So loved by brave Kickham - our own Slievenamon-
    Our pledges we give to defend Erin's glory.
    For rest till the hour of her thraldom has gone
    And so rings thro' all the land
    But one cry "Our Native land!"
    We'll chase from her brow all the sorrows and tears;
    We'll hail her a nation then -
    A Free nation once again
    May God bless and help on the "Irish Volunteers"!
