It is said that there was a monastery in the old Drangan churchyard & that there was a tunnel from the monastery over to the castle & from the castle to the cave in Priestown.- Informant

- About 200 years ago there was a coach going around Ireland called the "Headless Coach". The reason for it to be called the "Headless Coach" was because the man & four horses that were under the Coach were headless.
