    (6) The cure for the "Yellow Jaundice" was to boil the bark of a Barberry tree and drink it's syrup.
    (7) Leeneck or swollen neck was cured by applying wide green leaves like water-lily to the part affected.
    (8) A cure for the measles was to drink hot whiskey punch.
    (9) Anthony's fire could be also cured by prayer.

  2. Cures for diseases in animals.
    (1) Sulphur and linseed oil mixed together and applied to the affected part is supposed to be a cure for ring-worm in cattle.
    (2) Salt and Buttermilk given to cattle was supposed to cure the red-water.
