- Once upon a time two men went stealing apples, and when going home they went into an old Churchyard to count them. When they were going in the gate they both lost two apples. Two other men who were returning home heard them counting them. They were saying. "Two for you and two for myself." When the apples were divided on of the men said "What about the two at the gate."
