Carrick on Suir. - The West Gate:- This is a narrow passage leading from Greystone Street to the Main Street. In olden times the Town was surrounded by a wall. This place was one of the gates to let people in and out of the town.
- Town Wall :- Town Wall leads from William Street to Lough Street. Town Wall got its name because the old wall of Carrick-on-Suir ran along there and that is how it got the name Town Wall.
