In our district foxes are very numerous, they do a lot of harm to our fowl and young lambs. A woman by the name of Margaret Burke was awake one night by noise she heard in the fowl house. She guessed that it should be a fox. She armed herself with a hay pike and a lantern and went to the fowl house.
