    Cure for Liver Complaint.
    A cup of fresh buttermilk every day is said to be a cure for liver complaint.
    Cure for Fainting.
    Fainting is caused by the blood leaving the brain. Place the patient flat and allow the head to be lower than the body. Sprinkle cold water on the face.
    Cure for Corns.
    Boil a potato in its skin, and after it is boiled take the skin and put the inside of it to the corn, and leave it on for about twelve hours, at the end of that period the corn will be nearly cured.
    Cure for Sickness of stomach.
    The following drink is said to be very good, beat up one egg well, then add one pint of fresh milk, one pint of water, and sugar, then boil, and let cool, drink when cold. If it becomes curds it is useless.
