- (continued from previous page)of the Castle that he knew well. He revealed his secret to his brother and they made up their minds to go and search for the gold on a night they appointed. They carried with them all the necessary tools and so they set out for the Castle. When they reached there, they began to dig at the spot and they had not gone far in when they reached a flat stone. They raised it and found nothing underneath it, so they kept on digging hoping to find something. When they had gone only about five feet they reached another stone bigger than the last one. They lifted it and to their surprise they found about nine pots of gold underneath it. They opened one of the pots and examined it and found it to be the purest of gold. They said to one another "that they would hardly be able to bring it home." In the end one of them suggested that they would go home for the donkey and car and they would bring it all home and so they did. They arrived at(continues on next page)
