The Cartys and Reilly's, travel in families. They have big caravans and cars. They are noted for swapping asses. The Cartys are tin smiths. They make pans and pints and gallons and they mend them too. Somehow they all come round about the same time and often stay in a place for a week. Those that have no caravan make tents of sticks and canvas and in these they sleep. They light fires on the side of the road.
