  2. Kilpatrick churchyard is about half a mile from my house. This was once the site of a Church which was supposed to be built by St. Patrick on his way from Cashe;. Hence the name CIll Pádraig.
Only a small fragment of the building remains namely the ruin of the east gable and a small portion of the wall attached to it. The present graveyard surrounds the ruins of the church and great numbers are still being buried there. A wooden cross commemorating the Manchester Martyrs is erected in the graveyard. About a mile from Kilpatrick is situated the modern parish church of Anacarty.
