This is a recipe which is supposed to cure chilblains. Put a raw potatoe to them or cut the cap of a turnip and cutting a hole in the centre of the turnip put a fist of salt in the hole. Then rub the liquid to the chilblains for a couple of nights.(continues on next page)- Collector
