   The people long ago believed it was the sign of a storm to see the cat scraping the bark of a tree or the leg of a table or if they saw the sheep and goats coming down from the top of the mountain to the valley it was a sign of rain. To see the dog eating grass was the sign of rain. It was the sign of rain too to hear the crow, screaming or to see them dipping in their flight.
