Ennis. There are many trades in Ennis, such as carpentary, smith work, barrell making, shoe mending and coach building. There are many new buildings in Ennis. The square is the widest street in Ennis. The post office is a very fine building and also the banks of Ireland Munster and Lenster. The principal street in the town of Ennis is O'Connell Street and on this street there is new cinema namely "The Gaelic Cinema." The days the markets are held are Wednesday's and Saturday's. This is how Ennis became a town. Monks came hear and built an abbey. At that time there were no houses in Ennis. People all over the world came to Ennis Abbey to be taught. They built little huts and made roads to the abbey and built shops and that is how Ennis became a town.
