    "Lucht Siubhail"
    The travelling class may be divided into three main sections namely the common tinkers,gipsies an Jewmen. any of these three classes have no fixed abode ,but they wander from place to place and they depend mostly on the charity of the people for their support.
    We are more familiar with the common tinkers than with any other class as they visit us oftnest.The chief families we know of these are the Mc Carthys,the Caseys,the Burkes,the Wards ,and the Sherlocks.Each family come to the district two or three times each year ,before November's Eve, at Christmas and before Easter Sunday.When they visit the place they camp in a suitable
