    When the bargain is made between the buyer and the seller the buyer marks the cattle with a bit of raddle.
    Each buyer has a man at station loading the cattle.
    The principal market day is Thursday.
    Fairs for cattle, horses and sheep are generally held the same day here but in other towns such as Ennis and Kilrush there is a special day for horses and pigs.
