  1. Once upon a time there was a man living near the Ferry, and every morning he used to go to the other side of the Ferry, and in the evening he used to come home. There were fish catching at the off side, so one evening he was catching alot of the fish, and he never felt the night stealing on. When he left to come home it was getting dark, and his boat sinking with the weight of the fish so when he was half way across the water a mermaid appeared to him, from under the water and asked him would he marry her.
