- In a field in Querrin there is a well. It is called "Tobar na Buala". It got that name because there was great fighting for it. Long ago there were very few wells in Querrin and they had great fighting for that well. There were a great many people killed in the fight and they were all buried in the field that the well is in. When the field was tilled there were tomb stones found in the field. It is said that there is gold hidden someplace between that well and Crowe's fort.
