    The Banshee only follows good people. She is a small woman with long white hair and she is always combing it with a long comb. Any person who is hit with her comb dies.
    When a rooster crows at twelve oclock at night it is a sign of a death. When a hen is seen coming to the door of the house with a straw on her foot there is a visitor coming to the house.
    When you drop your glove you should never lift it, you should always get someone to lift it for you.
    When you put on your clothes inside out it is a sign of good luck and you should keep them so.
    If you meet a grey horse it is a sign of good luck.
    When you meet a red haired person in the morning it is a sign of bad luck.
    If a Christmas pudding cracks it is a sign of a death in the house.
    When sparks fly out of the fire in your direction you will get money.
