    Gorderry is a lovely place ¶ Surrounded all with trees

    There are gravel walks
    For maids to talk
    And seats for to sit down
    And a lovely bud of roses in the pleasure ground.
    The river Fane flows through the plain
    And gives a pleasant look.
    Where many a gallant fisherman
    Through (thre) out his line and hook.
    The blackbird, thrush and warbler
    sing their notes with trill (or that thrill)
    And cheer you on your journey
    going up Corderry hill.
