  1. We have a churn at home and it is thirty three years old. It is about three and a half feet high and about one foot nine inches wide at the top. The parts of the churn are the lid, the dash, and the cup, and the top of the churn is called the crib. The sides of the churn are straight.
    We churn twice a week in Winter and three times a week in Summer
    It takes half an hour to churn.
    If the dash is clean the churning is done.
    My mother that gets the churn ready, and then all in the house help to churn.
    When anyone comes in if they don't take a hand at it, it is said that
