- (continued from previous page)Mr Heeney sent down to eversee the excavations which lasted six months five or six men were engaged at it in all dozens of humans skeletons were found and most pecular when the men would be coming near a burial they would find a small white stone which Mr Heeney in charge said must have been brought there for the purpose as they were not beloning to the soil there were all sorts of pecular burials some were burned and the remains were found under a large stone forming a kind of crist another skeleton had an apes head. All those burials are said to date back to the stone age when there were no christians in Ireland as they were all very unchistian burials when no coffins were used. This garden goes down in history and is to day called Collierstown ancient burial Ground
