- Tir-Ree is one of the highest hills in County Meath, over looking the east coast, and about two miles distant from Clonalvey. It is said that about 300 years ago a great King, supposed to be named King Charles, lived there for some time. The name itself suggests the presence of a great King. -Tír -Righ or Tigh - Rig
