There are three holes in the fields belonging to Mrs Filgate where they used to steep the flax grown, in Kilbrickstown and Stedalt.
One of the steeping holes is in the Mountain field. One in the Lawn field and one in the mill-race.John Clarke

Here a battle took place, and a great number were slain.
