The leaves of the sorrel are put in a little bit of an old rag. The rag is then put into the fire for a short time, until the sorrel leaves are roasted. The burnt rag is take off. The roasted leaves if put as a poulstice on thorn, will take out the thorn.(continues on next page)- Collector
