    this is clear the butter is done. Water is poured in while churning to put a good colour on the butter. The butter is gathered together with the hand. Then it is divided into two parts and lifted by the hand. A bit of it is lifted and weighed. If it weighs 1lb. it is taken and clapped with the butter spades into the shape of a brick. Buttermilk is used for drinking, breadmaking, and it is given to the pigs.
