    is a stone stairs by means of which people can reach the top of the steeple. It is very dark because there are only a few little holes here and there on the way to the top. It is very interesting when one reaches the top for there is a great view for miles around. Thirteen counties can be seen from it including Meath, Louth, Kildare, Dublin, Down Monaghan, Cavan, Wicklow, Westmeath, Wexford, Longford Armagh and Tipperary. It is said that the top of the steeple and the bottom of the Tara church are at equal height.
