  1. There are no tailors in this district but about fifty years ago a tailor named Michael Woods lived in Milltown and he used to make clothes for local people.
    When people went into the tailor's shop to get anything made, the tailor would give hem an egg to take with them for luck.
    There is no dressmaker in this district now, but all the girls that went to Ashbourne school, make all their own clothes.
    There are two dressmakers in Ratoath and some people from Ashbourne get their clothes made with them.
    Long ago two tailors lived in Ashbourne, and one lived in Curraha.
