  1. There are not many holy wells in this district. There is one in Killyon, and during the year there is not more than fourteen inches of water in it, but on the fifteenth day of August it rises to a height of four feet, and people go in large crowds to celebrate it, and all those that are bad with a toothache take a drink of the water, and it is supposed to cure them.
