    There are very few ruins about here. There is a castle in Delvin Co. Westmeath but it is only a ruin.

    There was an old graveyard in Newtown in Halpins land but no person was put in it this 50 years ago. About 3 years ago before it was ploughed there was a large circle which marked where it was long ago.
