- Between Rathmolyon and Summerhill at a place Acher there lived an old landlord named Winters. He was a hard landlord on the people. When he died a dog used to appear at all the places where he haunted with his hounds. He came a few nights of every week. In the end when he was annoying the people too much, they sent for the priest and the priest settled him, and he was never seen any more.
