- Ballivor is a little village, is situated in South Meath.
The population is about one hundred and fifty.
It contains a Catholic, and a Protestant Church, opposite each other in the centre of the village three public houses, some grocer shops, and draperrys, two black-smiths shops, and about two dozen private houses.
In ancient times, Ballivor was the parrish of Killaconnigan. The Catholic Church being situated in the centre of the Church-yard, now the old cemetery.
