say a child's name from the opposite side. Then the children who were named must pull and all the words are repeated again and the side that has pulled over the most when finished wins.
See this pretty little girl of mine is a game in which one girl stands in the centre and the rest of the children stand round her in a ring. Then the children in the ring say:
"See this pretty little girl of mine,
She brought me ten times a bottle of wine,
A bottle of wine and a biscuit too,
See what my little girl can do,
Down on the carpet she must kneel,
Until the grass grows tall and green,
Stand up straight upon your feet,
And choose the one you love so sweet."
Then the girl in the centre takes in somebody out of the ring. the children then say:
"Now they're married life and joy,
First a girl and second a boy,
Seven years after seven years to come,
    Georgy, Georgy, kiss and run."
Then the girl who was in the centre first leaves it and joins the ring but the girl whom she took into the centre stays there and the children repeat the rhyme.
