- Long ago a man named Mr. Mc. Veagh, who was my great, great, great grandfather, held an important position in the court of an Indian Rajah, and when he was leaving the Rajah's service he made him a handsome present. It is not known what this present was but it is said that it is either a golden goose or a golden hen with thirteen golden chickens. When Mr. McVeagh came home he bought the house of Drewstown and settled down but he buired his treasure in Drewstown woods and no one has ever found it yet.(continues on next page)
