  2. There are many potatoes grown in this part of the country, and many different kinds. The Aran banner, Shamrocks, Truiumph, Epicures, Ninety folds, Kerrs pinks, Aran chiefs, Leinster wonders, Republicans, Aran Columns are the varieties grown in our district. The Epicures, Ninety folds and Kerr Pinks are early varieties.
