- There is a vault in the Athboy graveyard. It belongs to the Cusack family. They are all dead now. There is a head-stone there also date is on the year 1798.
Every ten years on Newyear's night a funeral comes from the Kell's road and goes to the Hill of ward graveyard. It is a ghost funeral. - Carnilse graveyard is one of the oldest graveyards in Ireland. The graveyard is shaped like a cross.(continues on next page)
