  1. There are ruins in the school district. There is a ruin in Rathcarn. The seven Plunkets lived in Rathmore castle. Cromwell invited them to the hill of Ward and when he got them in range he shot them and knocked the castle. There is another churchyard called the Member Church. The Black church is in Dunderry. Cromwell knocked it down.
