  2. The White Lady of Fitzherberts.
A white lady is said to be seen rambling round the land of Fitzherbert. There is no reason given why the spirit travels round, probably to guard something of the property of Fitzherbert or other.
From Donaghmore to Simonstown there was twisting baureen and is still there. A man named Fitzsimons lived alone with a nephew or some other relation of his on the baureen. One night they both had a row and the boy, being the youngest was thrown out of the house.
As he was rambling about he saw the white lady. Immediately he saw her h died with fright.
