- The site of Clonabraney Church is in Clonabraney Churchyard.
- A Pedestal of a Cross is in the River Blackwater at Kieran. It is at low water that you can see the Pedestal in Summer. It is near Mrs. Farrellys a widow and in Carnaross Parish and Meenlagh townland. The first Sunday of Augt. there'd be a Pattern at Kieran at the Well and at sunrise any farmer with a horse would ride up to where the Pedestal is about 100 perch and they'd have to go into the River and sometimes you'd have to swim you horse if the water was high and then you'd go round this Pedestal 3 times and dip some of the horses hair in this square hole in the Pedestal where the Cross formerly rested, and then you'd be allright. The people believed it would keep their horses preserved in good health for the coming year and some people would even bring their(continues on next page)
