    but I can't get any information about how they were made.
    A little lime-kiln was near Ballincleva cross-roads. It was private, and it was on Magor Chaloner's estate.
    Another lime-kiln was on a farm now owned by Mr. William Faulkner of Billywood.
    Another one was on Mr. Strong's land too.
    The lime was burned by putting sticks in the bottom of the kiln and then turf, and limestone and turf, and limestone alternately till the kiln was filled.
