    This was a fairly small field and it was used for the purpose of playing football. They were four goal posts stuck in the ground which were there for a long time. This game lasted for about two hours. It was Castletown won the game.

  2. About thirty two year ago there was a great team of footballers in Castletown. One of the best games played by Castletown was in a field of Naultys. The teams were Castletown and Ardee. All the players were very good but the best players were William Mulvaney and Joe Curran. William Farrelly was
