There is a well called St Columcilles well in the town-land of Newstone near the village of Drumconrath.
People do not visit the well and no rounds
are performed there or prayers said.
The old people never heard about rounds being performed or cures having taken place .there are two or three bushes growing round the well.

There are some fairy forts in the school district.Two are in the town land of Drumconrath and two in the town land of Clonberton.
the forts in Clonberton and those in Drumconrath are with view of each other.All are circular in shape and have a fence of earth.it is said that there is an entrance in the side of one of the forts in Drumconrath.(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
