    the east and there are trees growing along the graveyards fence.
    It is said that there are some very old graves in this church. The churchyard contains some Celtic crosses. People are buried inside the old ruins which the graveyard contains.the ruins were formerly a church.
    There are two disused graveyards in the Parish, one situated in the town land of Summerhill and the other in the town land of Lough Bracken.people do not remember burials taking place in those graveyards.
    Local families still use certain graveyards though they be much further distant than the Parish graveyards.
