  1. The local fairs are held in Oldcastle. They are held in the fair green beside the town. The green is surrouned by big high walls. Later in the day the buying and selling is done in the streets.
    Sometimes buyers come to farmer's houses and buy cattle, sheep and lambs. It was done long ago too.
    There is an old field just outside Oldcastle where the fair used to be held. The fair for big cattle is held outside the town, but the suck calfs and small ones are sold in the streets.
