    This is a story my mother told me about the village of Fore. This is a village situated near Castlepollard.
    Saint Fechin built a mill where there was no water. The man who was working at it said that it would not grind corn until it would grind him.
    Saint Fechin walked out and went across the hill of Windtown and went down to Lough Lane, and struck the water. The water
